The ORL offers occasional practicums on many subjects. In September 2014, for instance, we hosted the Poverty and Peacemaking Conference, a partnership with the Community of Sant' Egidio, which explored the mutual contribution of persistent poverty upon violent conflict, and physical instability upon economic distress and food insecurity. In spring 2018, we presented a conference along with the student organization SPEAR on "Shadows of the Prison."
