After a nationwide search, the Office of Religious Life (ORL) is proud to announce that Rev. Dr. Brittany Longsdorf will be the next Associate Dean of Religious Life and the Chapel beginning January 2, 2025. Longsdorf comes to Princeton after serving for the past nine years as the Multifaith Chaplain at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.
Longsdorf succeeds Rev. Dr. Theresa S. Thames as Associate Dean of Religious Life and the Chapel, after Thames took on the role of Dean when Dean Alison Boden retired this past July.
“The Office of Religious Life is excited to welcome Brittany to the team. With over a decade of experience, she has a deep understanding of pastoral care on college campuses while also cultivating and nurturing a strong community. We look forward to her flourishing in this role as she brings new ideas and perspectives to our work.“- Rev. Dr. Theresa S. Thames, Dean of Religious Life and the Chapel.
Rev. Longsdorf received her B.A. from Graceland University, her Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and her Doctor of Ministry from the Boston University School of Theology.
