In recognition of the recent milestone of 200,000 official Covid deaths in the US, in the context of a million deaths worldwide, the Office of Religious Life has placed 200 flowers on the steps of the University Chapel.  These losses have included members of the extended Princeton University community.  The pandemic prevents us from coming together now to remember them all, so may these simple flowers serve to honor the beauty and fragility of their lives, and to represent our gratitude for their ongoing presence in our own.

At this time of global pandemic, when losses are mounting but funerals are not possible, when hearts are breaking alone in physical isolation but we are unable to come together to console one another, we invite you to mourn, to bless, and to remember with us on our Healing and Grieving Wall.
